There are 3 main ways to browse the content of this site: 1) Search; 2) Browse The Timeline; 3) Browse the Galleries

Search

If you are looking for something specific in our history you may want to try searching for it by name.

To do so, simply type the name or description of the item you are searching for in the Search field in the upper left column of the museum. Then click 'GO'.

After clicking "GO" you will be taken to the Search Results Page. There you will see a list of all of the search results. Each found item in your search will show a thumbnail image, the title of the item, a short description, the file type and a "VIEW" button.

The Search Results Page displays 25 items per page. Click on additional pages at the bottom of the page.

Once you've located at item you'd like more information, simple click on the "VIEW" button to the right of the item.item.

Browse The Timeline

Items in our Museum are also categorized by decade. This gives the user a chance to browse through the museum in a linear fashion.

To access the timeline, simply click on “Browse The Timeline” in the left column of this site. There you will be taken to the main timeline page. On this page you will see our history displayed in ten year increments. To access the information for each decade click on the “more” link to the right of the decade description.

After clicking “more” you will be taken to the Timeline Decade List Page. There you will see a list of all items in the timeline for that decade. Each found item in your search will show a thumbnail image, the title of the item, a short description, the file type and a "VIEW" button.

The Timeline Decade List Page displays 25 items per page. Click on additional pages at the bottom of the page.

Once you've located at item you'd like more information, simple click on the "VIEW" button to the right of the item.

Browse The Galleries

Users can also browse through the Museum via Galleries. All items in the museum are assigned to specific galleries by topic.

To access the galleries, simply click on “Browse The Galleries” in the left column of this site. There you will be taken to the main Galleries page. On this page you will see all our Museum Galleries displayed by name. To access the information for each Gallery click on the “VIEW” link to the right of the Gallery name.

After clicking “VIEW” you will be taken to the list page for that specific Gallery. There you will see a list of all items in that Gallery. Each item in that Gallery will show a thumbnail image, the title of the item, a short description, the file type and a "VIEW" button.

The Gallery Page displays 25 items per page. Click on additional pages at the bottom of the page.

Once you've located at item you'd like more information, simple click on the "VIEW" button to the right of the item.
